Dates for new season confirmed

Ipswich Town F.C have announced the new dates for the EFL 2020/21 season on their website this morning. ( The full statement can be read by following the link )

The season has long been confirmed to be kicking off on September 12th with Town finding out who they will be facing on Friday 21st August.

Carabao Cup

Within the statement, the club have confirmed that the Carabao Cup will be kicking off on Saturday 5th September with the draw taking place on Tuesday 18th August (5 days from now on Sky Sports News).

EFL Leasing Trophy

The opening group game of the EFL Leasing Trophy will be on the 8th/9th of September with Town to learn their opponents on Tuesday 18th August at 1.30 live on Talksport 2.
