Town announce Ward, Hawkins and Cornell

Ipswich Town have today announced the signings of Stephen Ward, David Cornell and Ollie Hawkins all on free transfers via the official Ipswich Town website itfc.co.uk

Stephen Ward joins on a free having previously been with Stoke in the Championship. Ward, now 34 has signed a one year deal with the option for a further year.

David Cornell was with Northampton last season however did not play in their successful playoff campaign after rejecting a new contract. The goalkeeper has signed a two year deal with the option for a third.

Ollie Hawkins, also a free, signs having previously been at Portsmouth where he operated at either Centre half or upfront. Hawkins arrives on a two year deal with the option for an additional year.
